Mersch is a Luxembourg town located in the canton of the same name. It is located in the Alzette valley. Mersch has a castle whose foundations dates back to the 13th century and which has undergone many modifications over the centuries. Today it belongs to the commune which has set up its administration there. There is also the church of Saint-Michel which dates from the 19th century, built in a neoclassical style.
